M8 3-pin male straight connector for field wiring onto a cable – plug (male connector), A-coded, with screw terminals. The wires are clamped in the terminals with hex socket screws, no soldering needed – a hex key is included with the connector. The connector takes cables with a diameter of 3.5–5 mm. The cable exits the connector along its axis.
Application
The M8 3-pin plug mates with an A-coded M8 3-pin socket – for example a device socket or a cable ending in a socket. The pin assignment is the same as in M8 sensors.
The connector is made to IEC 61076-2-104 (A-coded), so it also fits other brands' A-coded M8 sockets.

View of the contact side. The pin assignment and wire colours comply with IEC 60947-5-2, the standard used for connecting proximity sensors of different brands – Nexotec sensors and cables follow it too. In other devices, the pin functions are defined in their documentation.
Installation and operating conditions
Cable: diameter 3.5–5 mm, conductors 0.14–0.5 mm². Connection: screw terminals. The wires are clamped in the terminals with hex socket screws – a hex key is included with the connector. Coupling nut tightening torque: 0.4 Nm. The connector achieves IP67 when plugged in and with the coupling nut tightened. Operating temperature: −40…+85 °C.
