M8 3-Pin Female Right-Angle Connector – for industrial sensors and automation systems

M8 3-pin female right-angle connector for field wiring onto a cable – socket (female connector), A-coded, with screw terminals. The wires are clamped in the terminals with hex socket screws, no soldering needed – a hex key is included with the connector. The connector takes cables with a diameter of 3.5–5 mm. The cable exits the connector at 90°.

Application

The A-coded M8 3-pin socket mates with an A-coded M8 3-pin plug – including sensors, but also other automation devices with this type of connector.

Suitable for three-wire M8 sensors with one PNP or NPN output (NO or NC). The socket screws onto the sensor's plug.

The connector is made to IEC 61076-2-104 (A-coded), so it also fits other brands' sensors and devices with an A-coded M8 plug.

Installation and operating conditions

Cable: diameter 3.5–5 mm, conductors 0.14–0.5 mm². Connection: screw terminals. The wires are clamped in the terminals with hex socket screws – a hex key is included with the connector. Coupling nut tightening torque: 0.4 Nm. The connector achieves IP67 when plugged in and with the coupling nut tightened. Operating temperature: −40…+85 °C.
