M12 4-pin male right-angle connector for field wiring onto a cable – plug (male connector), A-coded, with screw terminals. The wires are screwed into the terminals, no soldering needed, and the connector takes cables with a diameter of 4–6 mm. The cable exits the connector at 90°.
Application
The M12 4-pin plug mates with an A-coded M12 4-pin socket – for example a device socket or a cable ending in a socket. The pin assignment is the same as in M12 sensors.
The connector is made to IEC 61076-2-101 (A-coded), so it also fits other brands' A-coded M12 sockets.

View of the contact side. The pin assignment and wire colours comply with IEC 60947-5-2, the standard used for connecting proximity sensors of different brands – Nexotec sensors and cables follow it too. In other devices, the pin functions are defined in their documentation.
Installation and operating conditions
Cable: diameter 4–6 mm, conductors up to 1.5 mm². Connection: screw terminals. The wires are clamped with slotted screws (flat-blade screwdriver). Coupling nut tightening torque: 0.6 Nm. The connector achieves IP67 when plugged in and with the coupling nut tightened. Operating temperature: −40…+85 °C.
