An inductive sensor NIS30411 with a PBT sensing face is distinguished by its durability and high-quality construction.
The M30 model belongs to a series of sensors designed for operation in heavy industrial conditions. The larger Ø30 x 78 mm housing provides better transfer of mounting loads.
Technical specification:
- Diameter: M30, stable operation at long sensing distances
- Length: 78 mm, better resistance to vibration and stress
- Sensing range: 15 mm
- Housing: Threaded housing sensor
- Housing material: Nickel-plated brass, good protection against standard corrosion
- Sensing face material: PBT,
- Mounting: non-flush mounting
- Switching function: NO, standard inductive sensor logic
- Cable length: n/d
- Supply voltage: DC 10-30V, commonly used control supply
Applications
- Detection of elements in automated vehicle production systems.
- Monitoring of processes in machining centers.
- Detection of product position in packaging processes.
- Detection of elements in robotic work zones.
- Control of processes in complex mechanical systems.
Features and Benefits
- Precise detection of metal components in assembly processes
- Reliable detection of workpiece and tool positions
- Resistance to intensive cyclic operation
- Resistance to frequent cycles and micro-vibrations
- Versatile use in different OEM machine types
When to choose this model
- Used in high-load applications.
- Used in large production machines.
- Suitable for very demanding applications.
- Suitable for the most demanding environments.
Connection
The sensor has an NPN output, so connect it with an M12 4-pin connection cable without LEDs. Cables with LEDs (NXOC12281…, NXOC12401…) have a yellow status LED wired for a PNP output and are not suitable for NPN sensors.
The diameter of an inductive sensor is a dimension that defines the width of the sensor element measured in millimeters. This is an important technical parameter as it affects the mounting method and the space required for installation.
Rated detection range is a key parameter of an inductive sensor.Indicates the distance at which the sensor changes its output state when a metal object approaches its front end axially. This is the sensor's most important functional feature—it determines how close the object being detected must be in order to be registered.
