An inductive sensor NIS30442 with a PBT sensing face guarantees stable operation even under intensive use.
The M30 version was designed for automation systems requiring high durability. The Ø30 x 78 mm format is designed for operation in demanding, high-load conditions.
Technical specification:
- Diameter: M30, stable operation at long sensing distances
- Length: 78 mm, better resistance to vibration and stress
- Sensing range: 22 mm
- Housing: Threaded housing sensor
- Housing material: Nickel-plated brass, stable mechanical properties of the material
- Sensing face material: PBT, stable dielectric properties for inductive field
- Mounting: Flush mounting
- Switching function: NC, used in safety functions
- Cable length: n/d
- Supply voltage: DC 10-30V, commonly used control supply
Applications

When to choose this model
- Good for extreme environmental conditions.
- Ensures very stable detection.
- Ensures reliable detection of large objects.
- Suitable for extremely demanding applications.
Connection
The sensor has an NPN output, so connect it with an M12 4-pin connection cable without LEDs. Cables with LEDs (NXOC12281…, NXOC12401…) have a yellow status LED wired for a PNP output and are not suitable for NPN sensors.
The diameter of an inductive sensor is a dimension that defines the width of the sensor element measured in millimeters. This is an important technical parameter as it affects the mounting method and the space required for installation.
Rated detection range is a key parameter of an inductive sensor.Indicates the distance at which the sensor changes its output state when a metal object approaches its front end axially. This is the sensor's most important functional feature—it determines how close the object being detected must be in order to be registered.
