- Mounting: Flush mounting, lower sensitivity to mechanical damage and external impact
- Switching function: NC, used in safety-related applications and monitoring functions
- Cable length: n/d
- Supply voltage: DC 10-30V, compatibility with PLC control systems and industrial automation networks
Applications
- They support the automation of welding processes and steel structure assembly applications.
- Detects workpiece presence before machining operations begin.
- Delivers reliable performance in high-speed packaging and processing environments.
- Detects the presence of components within robotic work zones.
- Used in OEM machine automation and control systems.
Features & Benefits
- Stable operation in high-speed and dynamic production environments.
- Reliable detection of workpiece and tool positions.
- High response speed in packaging lines.
- Stable operation in dynamic automation environments.
- Stable operation in machines with high cyclic loads.
When to choose this model
- Used where an extended sensing range is required compared to standard sensor models.
- Ideal for larger industrial machines and heavy-duty automation equipment.
- Suitable for installations requiring greater mounting flexibility and mechanical tolerance.
- Performs effectively in larger-scale industrial automation systems.
Connection
The sensor has an NPN output, so connect it with an M12 4-pin connection cable without LEDs. Cables with LEDs (NXOC12281…, NXOC12401…) have a yellow status LED wired for a PNP output and are not suitable for NPN sensors.
The diameter of an inductive sensor is a dimension that defines the width of the sensor element measured in millimeters. This is an important technical parameter as it affects the mounting method and the space required for installation.
Rated detection range is a key parameter of an inductive sensor.Indicates the distance at which the sensor changes its output state when a metal object approaches its front end axially. This is the sensor's most important functional feature—it determines how close the object being detected must be in order to be registered.
