An industrial inductive sensor NIS12435 with a PBT sensing face has been designed for operation in harsh environmental conditions.

Connection
The sensor has two NPN outputs, NO and NC, on separate pins (NO on pin 4, NC on pin 2), so connect it with an M12 4-pin connection cable without LEDs. Cables with LEDs (NXOC12281…, NXOC12401…) indicate the state of a PNP output and have pins 2 and 4 joined inside the connector, so they are not suitable for this sensor.
